Our espresso roast is developed a little longer to provide an easier dialing in process. Perfect straight or as a milk-based beverage.

 Notes: A sweet and balanced cup that is dominated by toffee and sweet tamarind notes. A subtle brown spice and nutmeg shine as the cup opens.

This marks the third year of working with the Madeira family. This year, we focused on fermentation processes for their natural coffees, along with screen size and the impacts on the lots. This is going to be a fun year for Brazilian coffee!

About the Madeira Family:

I met Julia Madeira a few years ago when her and her mother were getting ready to start their own exporting company. I was very happy to be an initial partner in the Savannah area, and am happy to be working with them again. Julia and her mother inherited [Julia's] late father's farm, with the goal of transitioning it from a commercial to a specialty coffee farm. In the few years of buying their coffee, each harvest is getting better and better.
