This coffee has been curated through Finca Terrerito, a 5th generation family farm from Corquin, Honduras. This natural blend of Parainema and Obata create a juicy, sangria-like sweetness, that leaves a nice finish to remember it by.
USA veteran Adelmo "Al" Lopez, is a 4th generation coffee farmer who oversees the operations. Having moved to the United States and after his service went onto an avenue he was born into: coffee. Despite hardships with weather and shipping, Finca Terrerito is hard at work to improve the lives of those around them. Checkout more on their blog at fincatcoffee.com
Roasting this coffee was easy to repeat. The coffee took some time gaining heat, but retained it's momentum as I approached first crack. The goal was to develop a juicy mouthfeel and a berry-like acidity, but roast it a little more towards a medium to cut those winey characteristics.
